Our congregation was formed by Thomas Rix in 1857. The old church building was founded in 1869. There had been continuous worship on this site until 2006, when we moved into our new church.

We currently find ourselves in the heart of the Olympic host Borough of Newham. This in itself poses challenges, which we as a community are embracing, through our diverse and inclusive approach. The Unitarian congregation has a rich heritage, our values reflect this.

From our experience we seek to discover truth through conscience, love through fellowship, and understanding through tolerance. We endeavour to be open to our community. We have a universal outlook, this is reflected in our worship.

Our church is on the ground floor and is a modern building. We have full disability access and facilities..
